Benjamin Taubert is a composer currently based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He composes for a variety of ensembles including wind band, orchestra, percussion ensemble, and chamber music. He is a graduate of Goshen High School (Goshen, IN) and Ball State University (Muncie, IN). In his undergraduate studies, Benjamin obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. In addition to various teaching experiences, he is also a performer. Benjamin has been a member of the Ball State Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. He has also participated as a substitute performer for various ensembles such as Orchestra Indiana, and the Anderson Symphony Orchestra. Currently, Benjamin is continuing his studies in the Master of Music in Composition program at Butler University (Indianapolis, IN). He hopes to continue to make art and share it with as many people as possible.
