Benjamin Taubert is a new composer currently based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He composes for a variety of ensembles and has only just begun to build a catalog. He is a graduate of Goshen High School (Goshen, IN) and Ball State University (Muncie, IN). In his undergraduate studies, Benjamin obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. He recently worked in Hancock, New York at the French Woods Festival for The Performing Arts as a percussion counselor. In addition to teaching, he is a performer in various capacities. Benjamin has been a member of the Ball State Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. He has also participated as a substitute performer for various nearby ensembles such as Orchestra Indiana, and the Anderson Symphony Orchestra. In the upcoming year, Benjamin will continue his studies in the Master of Music in Composition program at Butler University (Indianapolis, IN). He hopes to continue to make art and share it with as many people as possible.
