Snare Scuffle

This piece, for two snare drums and a "teacher" was composed for the JCA Composer's Orchestra at Butler University. This piece requires three players and is ideal for the  collegiate level or advanced high school percussionist. When conceptualizing the piece, my goal was to write something that had musical substance, but also incorporated the "theatrics" that the ensemble is known for.
